Nosus Online Ruler is a free, client-side measurement tool. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Everything the tool does happens entirely in your browser.

Data we do not collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information
• We do not track your measurements or usage patterns
• We do not use advertising tracking cookies or third-party analytics
• We do not create user accounts or user profiles
• We do not sell data to third parties — there is no data to sell

Local storage

The tool saves your preferences to your browser's localStorage so your settings persist between visits. This data never leaves your device. It includes:

• Your calibration setting (pixels per mm)
• Your selected measurement unit (cm, mm, inches, pt, px)
• Your colour theme preference (light or dark)
• Active ruler edges and guide line positions

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.

Google Fonts

This site loads fonts (Inter and JetBrains Mono) from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, Google may log your IP address as part of their standard server logging. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Hosting

This site is hosted on a static hosting provider. The hosting provider may collect standard server access logs (IP addresses, request timestamps, and URLs) for security and operational purposes. These logs are not accessible to us for tracking individual users.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
